How to give us read-only access
These pages are for Teardown+ customers. They show how to let us read three Google tools. We can look. We can’t change your site, your tags, or your settings.
The address to add
Use this same address in Google Analytics, Search Console and Tag Manager. It’s the only address we ask you to add.

It ends in gserviceaccount.com. That’s the right address. Copy it. Typing it is easy to get wrong.
The three tools
You can do them in any order. Add us only on the tools you already use. Each page has the clicks, and how to take the address off again.
We can’t change anything
The access is read-only. In Analytics we’re a Viewer. In Search Console we’re a Restricted user. In Tag Manager we have Read on the container. Those roles can look. They can’t edit the tags, the settings, or the site.
How to remove us after we deliver
When the report is in your inbox, remove the address from each tool you added it to. Each guide names the screen. You can remove it sooner. We can’t remove it ourselves.
If a tool isn’t set up
You don’t need to create a tool you don’t already use. We still write the Teardown. If we can’t read the tracking, you choose a refund of the £30 difference, or a free follow-up later. The Teardown+ page sets out that choice.
Where this fits
These guides are for a Teardown+. Joining the waitlist doesn’t ask you to add the address. You do that after you order, once Teardown+ is on sale.
