Teardown

The full report, within 48 hours

A Teardown is the full argument: who would pay, what else they could buy, what to charge, where to find them, and whether to stop. Every claim links to the page it came from.

£49.99

Including VAT. You pay on Stripe. We email the report and a one-page summary within 48 hours of payment.

Who it’s for

It’s for a founder with a live product that isn’t selling, who wants enough of a read to decide what to try next, or to stop. You need to own or run the product.

What you get

Two PDFs, emailed together.

The one-page summary has the question, the verdict and score, the facts that carry the verdict, the first thing to do, a test that tells you when to stop, and anything we couldn’t check.

The full report is usually 15 to 25 pages. These sections, in this order:

  1. The question and the product.
  2. Verdict and score.
  3. Who the buyer is. One buyer. If the site speaks to several, we say that is the problem.
  4. Competitors and their prices, taken from their own pages.
  5. Where those buyers already are.
  6. What to charge, and what to drop.
  7. Channels, with no ads as the default. If we name a community, we name its posting rules.
  8. A short plan, in order.
  9. Risks, including the risk that a figure in the report is wrong.
  10. A kill criterion: one test that tells you to stop.
  11. What we could not verify.

The verdict is Go, Conditional go, or Stop, plus a score out of 50. The score is our judgement, so that line is marked as an estimate. Every claim has a source. Each source has the page address and the date we read it.

An example

The sample on this site is a real Teardown of Named Atlas, live at namedatlas.com. We read the site on 9 October 2026. The verdict was Conditional go, score 21/50, marked as an estimate. The owner agreed we could publish it. Yours stays private. Read the Named Atlas Teardown.

How it works

  1. You send the link and pay £49.99, including VAT, on Stripe. You agree we can start straight away. We never see your card.
  2. We read your site and the pages we cite, and we write the report by hand. A person checks it before it goes out.
  3. We email the one-page summary and the full report within 48 hours of payment. There’s no account to log in to.

The 14-day fix-or-refund

If a figure in the report is wrong, or the report doesn’t help you decide what to do, tell us within 14 days of the email. We’ll correct it or refund the £49.99. The 14 days start on the day we email the report.

This is research and opinion. It isn’t a promise that the product will sell. A verdict of Stop still counts as delivered. The refunds page has the full promise.

Questions

How is this different from the free Snapshot?
A Snapshot is one page, within 24 hours. A Teardown is the full report and a one-page summary, within 48 hours of payment, with the 14-day promise.
Do you look at my analytics?
Not in a Teardown. That extra read is Teardown+, which is coming soon. The waitlist is free.
What if a number is wrong?
Tell us within 14 days and we’ll fix the report or refund the £49.99. Email the address the report came from, and quote your order reference.
