Our 14-day fix-it-or-refund promise
If a figure in your paid report is wrong, or the report doesn’t help you decide what to do, tell us within 14 days. We’ll correct it or give you your money back.
What the promise covers
It covers the Teardown (£49.99, including VAT). The 14 days start on the day we email you the report. The Snapshot is free, so there’s nothing to refund, and 3-Pack, Re-check and Studio aren’t on sale yet.
What you’re not being promised
The report is research and opinion. It can’t guarantee sales, revenue, that a particular way of finding customers will work, or any other result. A report whose verdict is “stop” still counts as delivered. Ask for a fix or a refund if a figure we sourced is wrong, or if the report doesn’t help you decide. The promise doesn’t cover your product failing to sell later, because that was never what we offered.
Your legal right to cancel, and this promise
UK law gives you 14 days to cancel most things you buy online. For digital content, that right ends once delivery starts, as long as you agreed to that and knew you’d lose the right. The order form asks you to agree, because we start writing straight away.
Our fix-it-or-refund promise is separate and voluntary. It runs for 14 days after we send the report, and agreeing to start straight away doesn’t affect it.
How to ask
Email hello@soberread.com, or reply to the email your report came in. You can also use the address on your Stripe receipt. Tell us your order reference (it starts with SR-) and what’s wrong. We’ll put the refund through Stripe.
Ideas stay private either way
Getting a refund doesn’t give us permission to publish anything about your product. Nothing is published without your written consent. See the terms and the privacy notice.
